About Gay Night LifeWhether you are in Philadelphia, California, Las Vegas, or any other part of the world, there are many gay-friendly clubs, bars, coffeehouses, restaurants where Legal Highs are being used. For example, in Philadelphia, a wide array of entertainment exists in Washington Square West (Wash West), the city’s main gay neighborhood. It is not unusual to dance ‘til dawn at bars and clubs; attend all manner of events and theater performances on the Avenue of the Arts; enjoy Old City’s First Friday gallery openings; hang out in the café, and hear a singer/songwriter perform in an intimate venue–or combine some or all of the above. Wash West conveniently located just off the Avenue of The Arts, is considered the jewel of Philadelphia’s cultural performing arts scene and boasts plenty of gay and lesbian nightlife and great place for legal highs. The Avenue has more than a dozen venues, features an exciting mix of performances, including symphonic music, opera, ballet, jazz, classic drama and musical theater. One such place which is a must to visit is The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. The facility’s cello-shaped Verizon Hall, which opened in 2001, is home to the world renowned Philadelphia Orchestra, and is a touring stop for other major ensembles. Other places worth mentioning on the Avenue of Arts, are the nationally acclaimed Wilma Theater, which has produced classic and contemporary works for more than 25 years; The Merriam Theater, which brings in a full state of Broadway touring productions; the Academy of Music, which is also the site for Broadway tours, and Freedom Repertory Theatre, which is considered the nation’s leading African American theater. Some of Philly’s gay bars and clubs worth mentioning that people use legal highs are: Bump - which is a luxe-lounge offering a full menu of tapas and entrees, as well as a roster of fabulous cocktails. (It’s also a prime destination on Sunday for its “beef and drag” brunch.); The Westbury, sort of a Cheers for the gay set, which has a menu of sandwiches and salads and a cozy fireplace in the cold weather months; Woody’s - Philly’s largest and best known bar. Here you will find two bars for chatting up Mr. Right, as well as a large dance floor. Although most performances begin at 8:00 p.m., the culturally minded and energetic, can easily attend a concert or theatrical production and make a night of it afterwards at a Wash West bar, club, café or restaurant. Others may wish to call it a night after the evening’s performance, while the party-minded will likely skip the show in favor of a disco nap and a post -10:00 p.m. arrival on the bar scene.
San Diego is home to more than 50 gay-friendly clubs, bars, coffeehouses and restaurants. San Diego is very popular with legal highs so, if you are looking to see and be seen on any given night, gay San Diego has plenty to offer. Not only is there something to do every night of the week, many places are literally splitting at the seems with people, even on weekdays.
